The JUNGLE EXPERIENCE rafting trip is our MOST popular whitewater adventure on the Sarapiqui River. An adventure for all ages, we can assure you this section of the river has a nice combination of fun rapids while also having tranquil stretches of water that allow you to rest and admire the beautiful nature around you. To start this exciting and popular 2-hour trip, paddling starts at the bridge of La Virgen de Sarapiqui. You and your team will have a bilingual, white water certified guide to help you paddle down a 7 mile (11 km) stretch of river.

You’ll paddle through classic and exciting Sarapiqui rapids like Superman, El Codo del Diablo, Shotgun , and many more! After paddling some of those exciting rapids, your guide will dock your raft on the riverbank to allow you to stretch your legs, rest a little, or take a swim. While you relax, they will prepare for you some delicious, fresh, and seasonal Costa Rican fruits to recharge before starting the next half of the river. Costa Rican is known for its flora and fauna, and you’ll be amazed at how much of it resides in and along the Sarapiqui river.

All kinds of birds can be spotted daily on the river, relaxing, bathing, or eating, and this popular section of the river is one of the best places to find them. It’s also quite possible to spot monkeys swinging through the trees, sloths hanging out, iguanas sunbathing, and river otters taking a dip in the river during this unforgettable jungle experience. This is an ideal experience for families, couples or larger groups.
