Tour Itinerary

1. La Fortuna Waterfall Descent: We begin our morning descending a scenic 500-step trail through lush tropical vegetation to the base of the breathtaking 70-meter (230 ft) La Fortuna Waterfall. Marvel at the sheer power of the water and, if weather permits, take a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear natural pool downstream.

2. Arenal Volcano Guided Hike & Traditional Lunch: Next, we head toward the icon of the region: the Arenal Volcano. We’ll trek along trail paths surrounded by tropical forest, rainforest wildlife, and ancient lava fields from past eruptions, taking in unbeatable panoramic views of the volcano and Lake Arenal. Right after the hike, we’ll refuel with a delicious, authentic traditional Costa Rican lunch (casado) at a local spot.

3. Mistico Hanging Bridges: In the afternoon, the adventure continues high above the canopy at Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. Walking along fixed and suspension bridges suspended among the treetops, your guide will help you spot monkeys, sloths, exotic birds, and tropical flora while taking in stunning views of the surrounding rainforest.

4. Natural Thermal Relaxation at Tabacón River (El Choyín): To cap off an action-packed day, we’ll visit the famous natural hot springs of the Tabacón River (El Choyín).
