The tour begins with departure from your hotel or from our main office in La Fortuna. After the transfer, your guides will provide you with the necessary equipment and give you a complete safety briefing to ensure a fun and controlled experience. All guides are experts, bilingual, and prepared for this type of high-level adventure.
During the tour, you will encounter powerful rapids, big waves, and action-packed technical sections. We will also take a break to enjoy fresh fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, or mango, and you can take a dip if conditions permit. The Sarapiquí River is surrounded by lush rainforest, providing the opportunity to observe wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and toucans along the way.
At the end of the descent, water and towels will be waiting for you to refresh yourself. Then we will head to a local restaurant in La Fortuna, where a delicious typical lunch awaits you before taking you back to your hotel.
