Experience an exciting and safe adventure on the beautiful Río Balsa, ideal for families. The tour begins with pickup at your hotel or at the main office located 100 meters north of the La Fortuna police station. From there, we travel for 45 minutes in a modern, air-conditioned bus to the river.
Upon arrival, your guide will provide you with the necessary equipment and give you a comprehensive safety briefing to ensure a fun and safe experience. All guides are bilingual, certified, and have over 10 years of experience. After a short practice session, we begin the adventure: a descent of approximately 10 kilometers, with about 25 rapids full of waves, adrenaline, and lots of fun.
During the tour, we will take a break to enjoy fresh fruits such as pineapple, watermelon, or mango while we rest by the riverbank. You will also be able to appreciate a wide variety of wildlife, as well as landscapes of lush vegetation and waters perfect for a dip.
At the end, the bus will be waiting for you with water and towels to dry off. Then we will return to La Fortuna, where a delicious typical lunch awaits you and you can see the fun photos taken during the rapids. Finally, we will take you back to your hotel.
